My Current Skincare Favourites

Hello, my lovelies!

After a few months of being on a blog hiatus, I’m finally back! To kickstart, I wanted to share with you all my current skincare favourites. I hope you enjoy!

Biore Rose Quartz & Charcoal Range (£4.99 – £5.99)

Thanks to a gimmicky exfoliating sponge, my skin has faced quite a few bad breakouts over the last couple of weeks so I was on the hunt for an array of cleansing products that were going to banish my blemishes and restore my face back to its normal texture! Designed to deep cleanse your pores and de-stress your skin, the Biore Rose Quartz and Charcoal range is made up of three parts; a cleanser, a scrub and a mask.

Enriched with menthol, these products at first can feel a little tingly on the skin, but do not fret that’s just the products pulling out all of the excess dirt, makeup and grease.

Overall, I have seen a huge difference to my skin after using these products on a daily basis, to which I use the cleanser twice a day, the scrub as my exfoliator two to three times a week and the mask when I feel it is needed.

Aldi Lacura Healthy Glow Retinol Toner (£3.99)

Aldi (yes Aldi!) has been serving up some incredible skincare dupes recently, including this Healthy Glow Retinol Toner! As a dupe for the Pixi Retinol Tonic, this budget-friendly product is soothing on the skin and really enhances my skins natural glow. I would definitely recommend that you pick this up on your next trip to the supermarket!

Super Facialist Rose Hydrate Soothing Facial Mist (£9.00)

After falling in love with their Vitamin C Dark Circles Eye Cream, I was dying to try some more products from Super Facialist. I use this soothing mist as part of my morning routine, and it always gives my skin such a healthy glow!

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+ (£17.00)

The Effaclar Duo+ has always seemed be to a cult product within the beauty industry, and now I understand why! I only use a small amount of this moisturiser on both a morning and an evening as a little can go a long way. I’ve also noticed that my base products are applying so much more seamlessly when applying this beforehand.

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid (£5.95)

If you are looking for a lightweight serum, this is the one for you! From cult brand The Ordinary, this oil-free serum is designed to soften your skin and can also be used as a primer for when you want lasting longevity from your makeup.

Marks and Spencer Formula Absolute Lip & Eye Cream ( £18.00)

M&S’s skincare is seriously underrated! As part of their Formula collection, this multi-use product has made such a difference to my under eyes, as they now feel tighter and look so much brighter. However, I suggest you avoid applying this to your lips during the day as it can leave a little bit of a white cast.

Whilst we’re on to the topic of skincare, I also wanted to let you know about one of my favourite new beauty books. Skincare by Caroline Hirons encloses all of the beauty experts tips and tricks, and also allows you to get a greater understand of how skincare products actually works and the one that are best suited to your skin type.

What skincare products are you loving at the moment?

Thank you for reading,

lots of love
