A First Impressions of Ted Baker Cosmetics!

Hello, my Loves x

If you are a reoccurring reader of my blog, you will know that I recently did an unboxing of the Ted Baker Ted’s Bouquet Cosmetic Collection, to which I mentioned that I was going to create a makeup look using the beautiful products. Each of the products in the collection are very wearable, and I have created a taupe eye look with a glossy nude lip to share with you all! I hope you enjoy!

I began by applying my everyday base routine, before filling in my eyebrows with the eyebrow pencil. As I already have quite significant eyebrows, it makes it very easy to add shape and definition, and the waxy consistency of the pencil means my eyebrows are perfectly defined whilst still look natural. I also have to say that although this came in a gift set, it is the perfect ashy brown shade making it the perfect match for natural hair colour!

For the eyes, I used the eyeshadow brush provided which is soft and of very high quality, which is something that most gift sets seem to lack. I took the matte taupe shade from the eyeshadow trio and applied it all over my lid and it added a beautiful wash of colour, and it made the perfect base for the shimmer shadow that I applied to the centre of the lid.

I must admit that when I first finger swatched the shadows I was very much disappointed, but they are so pigmented when applied onto the eyelids and they blend together like an absolute dream! I then completed the look by using the mascara, which is extremely black and separates and lifts the lashes without look clumpy or spidery. As I skipped winged liner, I decided to add more definition to my eyes using the  Kiss True Volume Lashes in Chic.

After applying bronzer and highlighter, I swirled the blush brush into the blusher mixing both of the pink shades together, which allowed me to add a subtle flush of colour onto the apple of my cheeks! I love how it could be worn with any look and can be worn either day or night.

When picking my lip colour, I tried all three of the lip products on but decided to stick with the classic nude lip balm, which is so pigmented and creamy on the lips, without feeling tacky or pigmented!

Below I have also shown what the other lip products look like when applied to the lips, and they are perfectly wearable everyday shades!

Overall I have fallen in love with all the products in the collection, as they so girlie and are the perfect shades for me! I will definitely be picking more cosmetics from the range.

If you have purchased this gift set or tried any other products from the range, I would love to know your thoughts!

Thank you for Reading,

Lots of Love,

Hannah, x
