A Festive Makeup Look

Hello, my loves!

Whilst Christmas may be a little different this year, I’m still looking forward to dressing in the most sparkly clothes that I own and creating ultra-glam makeup looks. Today, I wanted to share with you all my go-to festive look, which consists of a copper, shimmer eye and a berry red lip. I hope you enjoy!

To begin with, I prepped my face with the Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Primer. Enriched with vitamin E, this wonder product gives my skin a healthy glow, whilst its matte formula allows my makeup to last all day. Following applying my primer, I then carried out the rest of my everyday base routine (which you can read all about here).

Now when it comes to highlighter, I couldn’t use anything other than Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop. With a beautiful rose gold undertone, this is my holy-grail highlighter and it gives you an incredible lit-from-within glow.

Moving onto eyes and I used my favourite makeup purchase of the year, which is the Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Volume 2 Palette. Rich in warm browns and burgundy tones, this beautiful palette is perfect for creating a number of festive eye looks. For my eye look today, I began by blending the shade ‘Perfectionist’ into my crease for definition, to which I then applied ‘Comfort Zone’ to the outer third of my lid to deepen up the look. Finally, for a touch of sparkle, I applied the shade ‘GRWM’ to my lid using my finger. I then amplified the look by using my favourite Soap & Glory eye trio which is the; Supercat Black Liquid Liner, the Thick and Fast Mascara and the Smoulder Kohl Eyeliner in ‘Cocoa Bean’.

When it comes to brows, I like to keep things pretty natural, so I used the simple duo of the Wet ‘n’ Wild Mega Clear Mascara and the Soap and Glory Archery DIY Brow Bar.

Finally, for my lips I created the ultimate ‘merry’ berry look using the Steve Laurant Vogue Lip Liner and the Huda Beauty Demi Matte Cream Lipstick in ‘Sheika’.

What’s your go-to makeup product for the festive season?

Thank you for reading,

lots of love

Hannah, x
