The Best of the Primers

If you want to the get most out of your foundation and concealer, using the perfect primer is a vital part of your make up routine. But with so many different formulas available on the market it is sometimes hard to find the right one for you. So, today I wanted to share with you a couple of my favourites with hope that you’ll find your perfect one!

L’Oréal Paris Infallible Luminising Primer Shot (£8.99)

From my favourite drugstore brand, this illuminating primer is perfect for nights out when you’re planning on dancing the night away! With a holographic sheen, this one wears beautifully under the True Match Foundation and provides the perfect amount of glow without looking to oily or sparkly.

BECCA First Light Priming Filter (£28.00)

Whilst it may be the priciest, I find that this one tends to be the most moisturising, which is key for the girl whose skin tends to feel a little dry! Providing a lit from within glow, this lightweight primer is ideal for those special occasions when you want your skin to look picture perfect.

Soap & Glory One Heck of A Blot Primer (£11.00)

For the girl who prefers a matte finish, this is the one for you! With not a drop of glitter in sight, I use this primer to refine my pores, particularly around my t-zone, as I find that this is where my skin is the oiliest and where my makeup often tends to slip.

Autography by M&S Luminosity Radiant Skin Primer (£12.50)

With a subtle, pearly glow, I opt to wear this one on a day-to-day basis as it provides the perfect amount of dewiness. I know it may be a little bit of surprise with it being from M&S, but I must say that has to be one of my most favourite high-street primers. I can’t wait to try more formulas from the range!

Thank you for reading,

lots of love
