My Pamper Evening Essentials

Hello, my Lovelies!x

Now that Halloween has passed, it’s time to unwind before the fun and festivities surrounding Christmas begins, and is there really a better way to relax than a good old pamper night? I wanted to share with you all my favourite products to use for pampering, and I would love if you could leave your favourites in a comment below!

Bath and Body

Due to my own personal preference, I always like to begin my evening with a nice hot soak in the bath, when I stick on one of my favourite Spotify playlists and relax my mind after a hectic day at work.  Around this time of year, I always take advantage of Lush’s Christmas releases and the long-awaited arrival of their Snow Fairy Shower Gel  .With its sweet candy scent and bubblegum pink colouring, Snow Fairy has to be the girliest shower gel on the market and I must insist that you pick up a bottle for yourself!

For double the sweetness, I’ve become very fond of one of their newest releases, the Candy Mountain Yule Log Bubble Bar which leaves you with a bath of fluffy bubbles and fills your bathroom with a heavenly candy aroma.

For those who aren’t a lover of sweet scents, with a wide selection of scents and product, the Lush Christmas collection is sure to have a product that is perfect for you! I’m also a fan of their Twilight Bath Bomb, which I would highly recommend to those who often find it hard to sleep, as it’s lavender scent allows you to drift off into a deep snooze.

To keep my skin soft and hydrated throughout the winter months, I love to lather on two of my favourite products from Soap and Glory’s Call of Fruit range, the  No Woman No Dry Hydrating Body Butter and the Paradise Glossed Moisturising Body Oil.

To banish those winter blues, what’s the problem with faking a golden body glow? For a streak-free and long-lasting tan, I apply the Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Instant Tan once a week and allow it to develop overnight for a natural and medium toned tan. As this tan needs to be applied weekly, I use the Cocoa Brown Tan Eraser to remove all traces of fake tan before applying my next layer for an even and quick application.

Having a pristine manicure and pedicure always makes me a feel a little more put together, so I always take time to look after my nails. Collection is one of my favourite brands for nailcare,  due to their fabulous formulas and wide array of polish shades. I start by prepping my nails for polish application with their 2-in-1 Top and Base Coat which strengthens and protects my nails from staining, as well as increasing the longevity of my chosen polish.

I then apply a layer of one of their  Lasting Gel Nail Colours, with my favourite shades being Raspberry and Chiffon Haze. Although the formula of these nail colours is quick drying, I always prefer to set my nails in place with the Elegant Touch Rapid Dry Spray.

But for when you need a quick and easy nail look that’s salon worthy, you can never go wrong with a pair of Nailene Gel Shine False Nails*. Their unique Flexible Fit technology allows them to feel comfortable as well as long-lasting, and they are also incredibly easy to remove. With an array of lengths and styles, you will be spoilt for choice on which pair to purchase, with my favourites being the style ‘Floral/Hot Pink’.

To ensure my hands, nails and cuticles are kept in good condition and are deeply moisturised, every evening I make sure to apply a layer of the Pink Grapefruit Hand Cream from The Body Shop.

Finally, is it really a pamper night without applying one of your favourite face masks? I adore the range of Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet Masks as their quick, easy and fuss-free application makes them enjoyable to wear and your skin always feels smooth and hydrated. My personal favourite has to be the  Super Hydrating Soothing Mask.

Thank-you for reading

 lots of love
