If you a reoccurring reader of my blog you will be aware of how much I love Makeup Revolution, and I have recently become a fan of their sister brand, Obsession Makeup London, as they have recently expanded their range of products, including their new Matte Lip Kits.
With a wide variety of shades, featuring a selection of nudes and reds, to which as always I gravitated towards the shade ‘Strip Tease’ , the most beautiful true nude shade that is perfect for everyday wear.
First of all, I was drawn to the product due to its instagrammable rose gold and marble packaging, and I was also pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the packaging of the actual lip products.
The aim of the product pairing is to create an intense matte lip, by combining the creamy liquid lipstick and the lip liner. I began by applying the liner following my natural lip line and softly filling in the centre of my lip in order to create a solid base for the lip paint, and I found that the creamy formula of the lip liner glided seamlessly onto my lips. I then applied the liquid lipstick and was amazed by the comfort matte formula and how creamy it felt once applied to the lips. Once paired together the duo looked beautiful, and throughout the time of wearing the lip duo, I was amazed by how non-transferable and how after a few hours of wearing the products still feel comfortable and creamy to wear.
Over the upcoming weeks, I am also hoping to pick up some of the other shades from within the range, as well as some more of the brand’s new launches!
