A Classic Valentine’s Look

Hello, my Lovelies x

No matter what your relationship status may be, or how you are spending Valentines Day, there is no excuse for you not to feel glamorous and pretty! I wanted to share with you all my classic valentines makeup look, which of course features a bold red lip to signify the colour of love. I hope you enjoy!

I began by spritzing my face with the Superdrug Vitamin E Hydrating Mist to prime my skin before applying my other base products as the mist feels so light and hydrating on my skin. To enhance my natural glow I applied the NYX Professional Makeup Born To Glow Illuminating Primer and L’Oreal Paris True Match Liquid Glow Illuminator in Icy Glow  to the highpoints of my face using the Real Techniques Stippling Brush.

For my foundation, as I was wearing false tan, I mixed together the L’Oreal Paris True Match Foundation 1.N Ivory and the  L’Oreal Paris Infallible Matte Foundation in 11 Vanilla  to create my perfect dewy shade, buffing them into my skin using the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. I used the same sponge to apply the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NC15 to brighten under my eyes, as well applying it to the highpoints of my face and to my eyelids acting as an eye primer. To set my base in place I used the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Transparent.

Before continuing with the rest of my base, I moved onto my eyes, due to the heavy fall out of the eyeshadows, as I quite simply use my sponge once again to clean up the shadow. Using the Revolution Life on the Dancefloor VIP Eyeshadow Palette , buffing Worthy and Prominence into the crease,  and applying Cocktail and Reputation to the centre of my lid. To complete my eye look, I used the Soap & Glory Supercat Liquid Eyeliner in Carbon Black  to create my classic wing, before applying two coats of the Kevin Aucoin The Essential Mascara. To enhance the eye look I also applied the Eylure Enchanted Jasmine Lashes.

Once I had wiped away the excess shadow, I bronzed with the Malibu Soleil bronzer from the BECCA X Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette, before highlighting with the Makeup Revolution Soph X Highlighter Paletteapplying a combination of the three golden shades within the palette to the highpoints of my face.

I then moved onto my brows, to which before applying my brow powder I set my eyebrow hairs in place with the Rimmel Brow This Way Styling Clear Gel. I then took my angled eyebrow brush and the Freedom Makeup London Duo Eyebrow Powder in Medium Brown to naturally define my brows, before adding texture to my brows using the L’Oreal Paris Brow Artist Plumper in Dark Brunette.

To complete my look I lined my lips using the L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Lip Liner in Perfect Red, before applying the NYX Professional Makeup Soft Matte Lip Cream in Amsterdam. To set the entire makeup look in place, I used the hydrating mist as a setting spray!
