Hello, my Loves x
A few weeks ago, Influnester kindly gifted me one of their Voxbox’s which was filled with Bourjois Paris’s beautiful holiday collection, and I just knew that I had to create a makeup look for you all!
I began by applying the Healthy Mix Foundation in the shade ‘Vanille Clair’, and although it has a lightweight consistency when applied with the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge creates such an amazing full coverage base. This is also the perfect shade for my skin, and I was amazed by how it does not oxidize throughout the day, just like their Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer which I used in the shade ‘Light’ to conceal my dark circles and blemishes.
I then moved to eyeshadow to which I used their new burgundy toned Christmas Quad which includes a stunning mixture of shimmer and mattes. I used the two-deep matte tones in my crease to add some definition and then used my fingertip to apply the lilac glitter shade. Not only is this quad amazing to pop into your festive clutch, but each of the shadows are so pigmented but they also blend like an absolute dream. I most often find that burgundy and purple tones make my green eyes really pop, and using this palette has defiantly made me want to play more with my coloured eyeshadows. I then added two coats of their Volume Glamour Push up Mascara in Black and my favourite falsies!
To finish off my look I add a flush of colour to my cheeks using the Rose D’Or Blush and the lovely pink tone really complimented the eye look! I then had the choice of three lip colours including a festive red and a brown nude, but I stepped out of my comfort zone and picked the berry shade named ‘Magni-Fig’. I love the formulation of the Rouge Velvet Lipsticks as they have a creamy matte formula which makes them so comfortable to wear and they also last all day, and I added a thin layer of gloss to add a little bit more shimmer!
