An Evening at Lane7 : Lifestyle

On Friday the 8th of October, I was invited to Middlesbrough coolest new bar, Lane7, who already have popular hangouts in Newcastle and Aberdeen, and it has now finally arrived in my hometown. I spent the evening sipping on G&T’s and mojitos, whilst having a game of bowling, it was such a fun evening!

I brought along my little sister, my cousin and her boyfriend and when we walked into the bar we were greeted by their lovely staff, and we were informed that as our lane was not yet ready to have a drink and check out their arcade! After we had picked up our tipples of choice,  we were amazed by how cool and retro their arcade was, to which the entire venue has a ‘Stranger Thing’s vibe to it!

As this is, of course, a bar, their wide range of drinks really caters to everyone, from cask beers to bottled ciders, mocktails to delicious cocktails, they also have an amazing range of gin’s which always a bonus for gin lover like me!

When it came to the bowling itself, I love how you can be active and have some fun within a bar, and I think it would make the perfect first date venue as not only can you have a couple of drinks, but bowling is the perfect fun ice-breaker.

I really was shocked by how something unique and cool is now available to visit in Teeside, and how affordable it is! As it is £7.50 per person per game and how reasonable their drinks prices are, and they also offer Student Discount for each game!

I would like to say thank you to Lane7 for inviting me to their preview evening, I had a lovely evening and it felt so nice to do something a little different! I will definitely be going back for more!
