Hello, my Loves x
If you are a reoccurring reader of my blog, you will know from my Everything, Everything Book Review ,that I am a massive bookworm, with one of my favourite books being Me Before You by the fantastic Jojo Moyes! It was last year’s romantic drama film of the summer, and in true fashion, I read the book before I saw the film.
The story follows the rather dull life of eccentric dresser Lou Clarke, who lives a very sheltered life, meaning she has never left the tiny town that she calls home. That is until she meets Will Traynor, who due to being involved in a motorcycle accident, loses all desire to live, he feels joyless and he knows exactly how to put a stop to it all. When the two meet, little do they know that when their two worlds collide they will embark on one of the most beautiful, heartbreaking love stories to date. And with Moyes fantastic writing ability, we are allowed to feel like we are with them every step of the way.
This amazing book has now sold a mind blowing 5 million copies world wide, as well as being a number one bestseller. It is so brilliantly written and easy to read, that is was adapted for the big screen, to which the film featured the quite simply stunning Emilia Clarke and ever so handsome Sam Claflin as Louisa and Will.
So head down to your local book store, pick up a copy for yourself and get lost in the worlds of Louisa and Will! You can also look forward to more reviews of Moyes Books as I now have the whole collection, she is quite simply one of my favourite authors.
RRP: £7.99

I loved this book, the sequel ‘After You’ I found slightly disappointing. It didn’t grip me. But I pushed through it and enjoyed it. X

I have tried yes, but I didn’t find any of them as gripping. I ended up stopping reading them if I’m honest. X

I think some books scream to you or they don’t sadly. But I wouldn’t say no to reading another one of her books 😀

Neither did the author. This explains why she would think that no one would want to be with us, sexually or otherwise, and disabled people are better off dead. That’s not romantic. It’s ableism.
