Hello, my Loves x
When it comes to the application of your makeup, it does not matter how much you spend on beautiful products, but it depends on the brushes that you use, and they always have to be clean. To which I always take the time to wash my brushes once a week, and I have recently begun to use the Epoch Polishing Bar, to do so. Although the bar can be used to remove fake tan or as a daily exfoliator, it works wonders when it comes to cleaning your brushes!
Since using the polishing bar, my brushes feel so much softer and their quality has been drastically improved. I have also found that my brushes dry a lot quicker, meaning that I don’t have to wait till the next day to continue using my brushes.
Now onto how I incorporate the bar into my routine!
- I firstly run a warm dish of water and dampen both the brush and bar and twirl the brush into the bar until the brush hairs turn back to their original colour
- If there is still product left on my brush, I will quite simply repeat step 1, until the brush is clean and until the water runs clear.
- Finally, I reshape the brush hairs and leave my brushes on a flannel whilst they dry, which usually takes been 1 to 2 hours, and then they are ready to use again.
I love how it is also travel-friendly, as it could quite easily be carried around in a travel soap dish. I will most certainly continue to use the polishing bar as my brush cleanser, as I am blown away by the results!
