Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon Book Review

Hello, my Loves x

Something you may not know about me is that I am very much a bookworm, as well as being a huge fan of romantic dramas. The romantic drama film of the summer is Everything, Everything, which is released today in the UK and I can’t wait to watch it. To which I decided to pick up the book up to read before I go watch it on the big screen, and I amazingly managed to read it in just over 3 hours!

The story follows the life of 18-year-old Maddy, a girl who is a lover of books but is allergic to the world and hasn’t left her house in 17 years, missing out on every normal teenage girl experience; prom, best friends and first love. That is until Olly, the new boy next door see’s Maddy’s beauty through his bedroom window, and he is determined to find a way meet her. We are allowed to join them on the journey of crazy risks that they take to fall in love.

For Yoon’s first novel, her storytelling is so unique and beautiful, and unlike anything, I’ve read before. I quite simply could not put the book down! With raving review’s from the authors of All The Bright Places and My Invisible Boyfriend, it proves that I’m not the only who loves it.

So head down to your local book store, pick up a copy for yourself and get lost in the most unique love story to date! I will also be picking Nicola’s second novel, The Sun Is Also A Star.
