Georganics was started in 2015 as a natural alternative to help keep a healthy daily oral care routine, but avoid the harmful ingredients found in most dental products.
They believe that we don’t need to use artificial, synthetically made chemicals to have clean teeth or to kill the bad bacteria in our mouths. When it comes to other commercial toothpaste ingredients commonly used by your favourite brands need to be reconsidered. The triclosan may promote breast cancer progression and may interfere with a type of cell signalling in the brain, heart, and other cells. Sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) has even been linked to skin irritation and painful canker sores.
They kindly gifted me the Natural Organic Coconut Oil RemiIneralizing Toothpaste and Mouthwash in Spearmint to incorporate into my oral hygiene routine. To which I begin by applying a pea-sized scoop of the toothpaste to my brush, using the spatula and brush as usual as normal for 2-3 minutes. I then use the oil pulling mouthwash for a natural rinse.
The natural toothpaste ingredients include calcium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate which allows you to clean and remineralize your teeth naturally as they are high in minerals, as well as Spearmint Leaves Essential Oil, which works as a strong antiseptic. Whilst the mouthwash, has ingredients which create a natural antibacterial oil pulling blend, which has been around for thousands of years as an Indian Ayurvedic remedy. Georganics have recreated this perfect blend by adding steam distilled essential oils, which have been selected from certified organic crops and farms so that your oral care can benefit from their natural antimicrobial and soothing properties by reducing the number of harmful bacteria in the mouth.
I can honestly say that after using this method my teeth and overall mouth feel so much healthier and cleaner, without feeling weak and sensitive which can often happen when using oral health products that overloaded with harsh chemicals! They are also pearly white, which you can see in the photo below:
