Naked Illuminated Trio Review

Hello, my Lovelies! My beauty aim for this year is to begin to discover different brands and products, including picking up products that have been on my wishlists, to which I had the Urban Decay Naked Illuminated Trio which was going to be one of my first purchases of the year. When I noticed that the lovely Zoe Dubs of FaceValueBeautyBlog was giving the trio away on her twitter, I decided to enter and was ecstatic when I found out I had won!

First of all, when I unboxed the palette the packaging is beautiful and travel-friendly just like every UD product, with a huge mirror and double ended highlighter applicator, this will certainly be making it’s way into my travel makeup bag.

The trio includes Pyrite (gold-champagne), Oasis (marbled frosted taupe) and Twilight (iridescent pink), so whatever your personal highlight preference you will be guaranteed to find it within this palette. I am not usually fond over an overly glittery highlight, but for nighttime and going out looks I have fallen in love, so be sure to take a step out of your comfort zone as you will be converted too!

Each shade can also be used as an eyeshadow palette, to which if you apply an eye primer and use a flat brush to pack it on your lid you will be sure to look like a glowing goddess, especially when using the gold shade. They also make the perfect body dusting powders, as just a light dusting across the collar bones makes them look flawless.

I will be sure to branch out into trying more of Urban Decay’s face products as I have been blown away by the quality and pigmentation of these highlights, and I highly recommend that you pick it up for yourself!

RRP: £29.00

Thank-you for reading

 lots of love
