My Top 3 Classic Red Lip Products

Hello, my Lovelies! In my opinion, a festive makeup look is not complete without a classic red lip, and today I am introducing you to my favourites 🙂

Personally, I prefer  lustre or cream sheen lip products, as I prefer an intense cherry red that moisturises my lips, which is why for all you matte lovers I hope to convert you and take you out of your comfort zone!

Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm in Provocateur

Like the rest of the products in this post, they may be oldies but they are most certainly goodies! The Lacquer Balms are very much 3-in-1 products, moisturising like  a  balm, the staying power of a lipstick whilst having the gloss effect of a lipgloss. Revlon is one of those brands which never fails to impress me, especially when it comes to their lip products. If you are not a red lipstick fan, in the collection of lacquer and matte balms, within the range you will find the perfect festive party shade for you!

Tanya Burr Lip Gloss in Let’s Travel The World

Now for something a little more subtle and everyday worthy, and a product created by one of my favourite YouTubers, Tanya Burr!

Although this in the old packaging, the formula is still exactly the same and they are my favourite lip glosses on the drugstore market. When either worn alone or as a lip topper, their lack of sticky-ness and non-transfer allows them to tick every box for the perfect gloss.

MAC Cosmetics Lipstick in Ladybug 

I have completed my top 3 with the most expensive! And my favourite from my collection of MAC Lipsticks, and my most worn throughout the festive season.

Lady bug is a lustre finish, so it’s perfect for me! LB is a beautiful cherry red, with the perfect amount of sheen without being too sheer. Just like the rest of MAC’s lipsticks, it is incredibly pigmented and the longevity of them always blows me away.
