Summer Skincare Routine : 2016

Hello, my lovelies! If you are from the UK you will know that over the last couple of weeks we have been hit by a massive heatwave! This means that I have been taking a lot more time to complete a full skincare routine every morning and evening.

As I said in my previous skincare routine, I believe that to have great skin it does not mean that you have to spend a lot of money. I recently picked up some products from Boots Botanics and Simple, and it’s fair to say I am very impressed as they have worked wonders for my skin! They have now been incorporated into my routine, as well as two of my holy grail products. My routine has had a complete overhaul!

I first of all begin with the Botanics All Bright Soothing Eye makeup Remover , which is oil infused! I love oil infused makeup removers to remove my eye make-up, as I use the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. This one is by far the best as it is gentle around the eye area, and it also doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy and clogged up with the product.

To remove the rest of my makeup I use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, this is one of my all time favourite products from the drugstore and I could not be without it! In a couple of swipes of a cotton pad your skin is makeup free, yet again it does not make your skin feel clogged or greasy. This can be even used to cleanse the skin throughout those non-makeup days, leaving your face cleansed and nourished.

I then wash my face with the  Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel to remove any other impurities or make-up that may be left on my face. The wash is very gentle on the skin, leaving your complexion looking bright, refreshed and clear! Waking up on a morning to see clear and bright skin is very important to me, and I believe using lighter products on combination skin can achieve this!

To tone my skin I use the Botanics All Bright Cleansing Toner, which I also believe is making my skin clearer by the day! All of the Botanics All Bright products include brightening hibiscus which gives me a natural bright dewy complexion which I absolutely adore.

I have then begun to use a very light moisturiser on my skin,  I love the feeling of not having clogged up skin especially during the summer! I chose the Simple Kind To Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser, and this is exactly what I needed, it may have even become my favourite moisturiser.

To complete my routine I use the Simple Spotless Skin Rapid Action Spot Zapper to prevent my skin from having breakouts around my hairline and chin! This is by far the best spot product that I have used, as it even reduces the horrible hormonal spots which means it gets high praise from me.

As you will see two products are missing from my routine : An eye cream and a face mask. This being because I want to complete this perfect with routine, and I would like your help! If you could leave recommendations below in a comment of your favourite eye cream and face mask, I would very much appreciate it.

I hope you enjoyed this post.

Thank-you for reading

Lots of Love
